Windows (Intel or AMD) Windows on ARM (Snapdragon)

Which one? Most PCs are Intel or AMD. If yours is a Copilot+ PC, a Surface Pro 11 or Surface Laptop 7, or anything with a Snapdragon chip, take the ARM one; it runs natively and goes easier on the battery. To be sure, open Settings › System › About and look at System type: “ARM-based processor” means ARM.

Windows 10 or 11. The installer is about 10 MB, needs no administrator rights, and installs for you alone.

What Windows will say

Code signing is how Windows recognizes who made an app. Tomen’s isn’t in place yet, so Windows treats the installer as unknown. Nothing about the app is different; the warning is about the missing signature.

After that first run, Tomen updates itself, and you won’t see the warning again.
